Girls Program

The Lower Bucks Lacrosse Girls Program is for girls in Pre-K through 8th grade.  Our program is designed to develop our young athletes to become complete lacrosse players with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game.  We do this by stressing individual skills within the team play concept.  Our goal is to foster a love and respect for the game of lacrosse and to provide our girls with the skills necessary for successful interscholastic high school and hopefully college careers.  We compete against other teams in the Philadelphia Area Girls Lacrosse League.

Cradle Lacrosse

Cradle Lacrosse is the ultimate introduction to lacrosse and is the perfect choice for a new player from 4-8 years old.  The mission is to teach the basic skills of lacrosse in a fun, energizing and engaging environment.  The team at Cradle Lacrosse has developed an innovative curriculum focused on helping young players build confidence and succeed.  The lesson plans allow players to learn through fast-paced games and activities.  Staff members are experienced educators that are passionate, caring and supportive mentors. We will offer two levels of Cradle Lacrosse during the spring season.  Visit cradlelacrosse.com for more information.  No equipment purchase is required. Players will be provided everything they need but can bring their own stick if they desire

Time commitment: Saturday mornings, 1 hour per week for 6 weeks, April and May

Third and Fourth Grade

This division is for girls in  3rd & 4th grade who have participated in Cradle Lacrosse or an equivalent program for at least one season.  New players in grades 1 & 2 are encouraged to participate in Cradle Lacrosse.  We teach fundamental skills in an engaging and fast-paced practice format to maximize repetitions and opportunities for improvement while keeping your son moving and involved. We introduce team concepts but individual skills are the real focus -- throwing, catching, cradling, dodging and shooting.  We also emphasize sportsmanship, fair play, and the traditions of lacrosse.  In addition to in-house games, we will play games against other local clubs and attend two tournaments.  The season begins in late March and runs through May. Games will be played in a 7 vs. 7 format on half size fields with regulation goals. Full equipment is required

Time commitment: 2 practices during the week and a game on Saturday.
